In its Q3 earnings call (the same call during which EA talked about the power of next-gen consoles ), EA revealed that the mobile game isn’t being developed in-house; instead, EA partnered up with a Chinese company to both develop Apex Legends mobile for a global release and distribute it in China. According to EA CFO Blake Jorgensen, “Rolling mobile out in China, you need to have a partner, and we’re—as we’ve said in the prepared remarks today—we’re working with a partner there, and we’re very excited about the opportunity. That partner is also helping us develop a mobile Apex for the globe—more to come on that in terms of timing.” EA’s Chinese partner wasn’t actually named in the call and considering it’s fairly early in the partnership, that’s likely the reason that EA doesn’t have a release date for the game yet–although there is a release wind
These job listings seem to affirm what some players were feeling following a recent leak: Apex Legends has a long life ahead of it. A recent leak by Biast12 seems to indicate that Respawn Entertainment already has plans for the next 7 legends coming to Apex Legends . And while these legends won’t be coming for a while, many players felt reassured that Apex Legends is here to s
At the very least, Apex Legends fans do have something in the very near future to look forward to, as the game’s season 4–titled “Assimilation” –goes live on February 4. He starts off by talking about Fallout 76, and how cross-play would be a nice feature for that game, but isn’t required. The game is supposed to carry over progression from platform to platform and even allows players to switch between them mid-game. Pete Hines believes that only a “bad situation” will arise if Bethesda decided to segment the game’s player b

This job listing could be seen as relatively good news as fans of Apex Legends have criticized the game in the past for its extensive and seemingly overpriced microtransactions. When the game first started introducing heirlooms, players even calculated that they would need to spend at least $170 to get Bloodhound’s Raven’s Bite . While those microtransactions have never been mandatory to be competitive within the game, players have certainly been left with a bad taste in their mouths over the excessive c

As you probably noticed, the recently-released and extremely successful Dragon Quest XI does not appear in the ranking, and that’s easily explained. It released in Japan on July 29th, over a week after the end of the survey. Due to that unfortunate timing, we won’t be able to know how it would fare against Persona 5 for a wh
