Welcome to the home on the internet for the Southwest Symposium Biennial Archaeological Conference. The Southwest Symposium organization was founded in 1988 to promote new ideas and new directions in the archaeology of the U.S. Southwest and Mexican Northwest.

The program for 20th Biennial Southwest Symposium is now being actively developed. We plan to host the conference in El Paso, Texas from February 18th to 20th, with optional free field trips to Hueco Tanks and hopefully local missions on the 21st.
